About Us

We are “Mallakhamb Innovators”, the team of champions, mallakhamb artist team from Mumbai, India. With specialized in “Acro Mallakhamb” act. We are performing arts group with solo, duet and group pole mallakhamb act, hanging mallakhamb, rope mallakhamb, fire& sword mallakhamb performace with solo & duet aerial silk performance.

We exhibit this arts with blend confidence, teamwork & synchronization with music. Each of us has mastered this art for more than 15 years with true dedication & have been performing in various corporate events, festivals flawlessly showcasing our passion towards mallakhamb.

We have performed in many states of India, in other countries as well as in international festivals like IHFF (International health& sports fitness festival) & Mood Indigo.

ABOUT MALLAKHAMB AND AERIAL SILK

Mallakhamb

Mallakhamb is a traditional sport, originating from the Indian subcontinent , in which a gymnast performs aerial yoga postures and wrestling grips in concert with a vertical stationary or hanging wooden pole, cane, or hanging rope. The word Mallakhamb also refers to the pole used in the sport.The pole is usually made from Seesham (Indian Rosewood) polished with castor oil. Three popular versions of Mallakhamba are practiced using a sheesham pole, cane, or rope.

AERIAL SILK

Aerial silks is a type of performance in which one or more artists perform aerial acrobatics while hanging from a fabric. The fabric may be hung as two pieces, folded to make a loop, classified as hammock silks. Performers climb the suspended fabric without the use of safety lines and rely only on their training and skill to ensure safety. They use the fabric to wrap, suspend, drop, swing, and spiral their bodies into and out of various positions. Aerial silks may be used to fly through the air, striking poses and figures while flying.
